If I ever find him

So evidently, my email address was hacked and a bunch of spam was sent through my address. I've taken the advice of Yahoo! on what to do and hope this doesn't happen anymore.

I would like to find this person. I won't describe what I want to do to him ( I believe it is a him, women aren't evil when it comes to things like this, they are only evil when they want to rip your heart out through your lungcage and put it in a blender on puree, but hey, who am I to judge. Maybe I should have called more. Whatever. ) anyway, what I would do involves slitting a very tender portion of his anatomy. I'll leave you with that. My description for what I would do after that, isn't pleasant.

Like sand through the hourglass

What a great week.  I don't have to go anywhere.  For the first time in three weeks I get to spend every night in my own bed.  The temperaturer finally broke 80.  I got to wear shorts playing golf.  I had a letter to the editor printed (making me 10 for 11 letters printed vs submitted).  But here's the highlight.  You all know how much Malta means to me and how great my friends are.  Two weeks from now, I will be attending my high school 30th class reunion. I know that you are all shocked that, given the maturity of my posts, I've been out of school that long, but it's true.  Last night, the reunion committee called.  They were having trouble coming up with a keynote speaker and someone suggest having me get up and talk.  I told them I would do it if they couldn't find anyone else and this morning my agent said I was booked.

I'm not gonna lie.  I'm thrilled to be able to stand in front of all these great people and tell them my take on Malta, life and our great class.  I will be working hard to put it together and keep it under two hours.

After the jump you can read the op-ed by dipshit John Baden that fired me up to write my letter to the ed.  I hope you all enjoy it.

The Teachers' Lament

I saw the article listed below on FB yesterday.  I chose not to comment on it as I didn't want to ruffle any more feathers than I usually do.  I did make put the following comment on my FB page "Does anyone out there think that people home-schooling their kids should be at least paid the average rate of teachers in the district they are teaching their kids? Afterall, they are doing the same job AND their is one less child for these poor overworked teachers to have to worry about. They should get something. Afterall, its never about "the children".'  This comment was enough to get me unfriended by at least on thin skinned liberal.

Any way, here's the blogpost that caused all the uproar.  My comments are in blue.

The Great American Land Grab. Part One - The Wilderness

And so it begins.

On December 23, 2010 Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced plans "to reverse a Bush era policy and make millions of undeveloped acres of land once again eligible for federal wilderness protection." ( Bozeman Daily Chronicle 12/24/10). Secretary Salazar and Interior Department Management will review some 220 million acres to possibly designate as wilderness. This is an area larger than the entire state of Texas . However this only the beginning.

Secretary Salazar has clearly stated he will designate certain areas as "Wild Lands". The term "Wild Lands" has not been officially defined by the Interior Department or Congress. Because “Wild Lands” is not defined, it allows Secretary Salazar and BLM Director Bob Abbey to use their discretion to define areas within the 220 million acres as off-limits to any activities they disagree with. These activities will include on and off-road mechanized travel, livestock grazing, and placing any gas and oil exploration completely off-limits. The current administration's relationship with the environmental lobby certainly supports the restrictions of these types of activities.

Where's my abacus?

Let me see if I have this straight.  Adding a trillion dollar entitlement program to the national coifers will lower the national debt while repealing it will add to the national debt.  Repealing health care will make Medicare costs increase even though part of the money to fund health care was supposed to come from Medicare waste.  So how will it go into debt if there is all of this waste?  How can not funding a government entitlement program that isn't in existence yet add to the debt?  Why is this the only bill in the last 50 years for which we were going to be taxed for two years before it goes into effect?

Strange times indeed.

A New Year, a new mission.

Well, I missed most of the New Year's Party at Boxer's. I read lots of comments and looks like it was a great time. I was having a hell of a time trying to post. I'm assuming it was the the amount of traffic and blogger couldn't handle it as the rest of the net seemed to be working fine on my end.  Great job to all and it looks like Boxer raised some awesome money for her charity. I had a great year and need to fulfill my New Year's pledges as well.

Meanwhile in the real world.  Montana's own 300 pound ball of lard Senator Jon Tester is trying to introduce a bill entitled "The Forest Jobs and Recreation Act".  Senator Tester ran as a moderate but was largely backed with out of state (read "California") money and is now trying to pay back the envrironmental lobby for their efforts.  In a nutshell, this bill will close thousands of acres of public land currently being used by a number of different recreationists and designate it wilderness.  Much of it will not even be able to be accessed by horseback.

Because this was really, really important.

While our country fights a war against terrorism, a war I might add that liberals do not want us to win, it was a high priority to make sure that openly gay men were allowed to serve.  Unlike most liberals and definately unlike the chain smoking former coke addict President, I actually know people who have served in the military.  I know Korean vets,Vietnam vets, Desert Storm vets, vets from the current conflict and not one of them that I've asked has been in favor.  As a matter of fact, each person I've asked is adamantly opposed.  It's odd to me that with everything going on in the country and the world, that this was such a priority.  I can hardly wait for the lawsuits to come against the military when some twinkle toes gets his feelings hurt by a drill sargeant in basic.

Here's something to think about though.  If straight men are supposed to be "OK" with showering and serving with openly gay men, why can't we put women, straight men, and gays all together. If straight men are supposed to accept being in barracks with gays, shouldn't women have to shower, etc with straight men. Isn't that what "equality" really is?  Think of all the money it would save in operation costs.

How hard is to get a journalism degree?

I hate the media.  Make no mistakes about it.  If Katie Couric was on a plane with Keith Olberman and it went down, let's just say I'm not volunteering to join the search and rescue party. They tow the liberal line lock, stock and barrel and you need to look no further than the current "tax cut" bill as proof.

When this bill was passed over 8 years ago, it was, and has been since, protrayed as a tax cut "for the rich". Even though it was across the board.  I knew this.  Anyone with an IQ bigger than my average golf score knew this but in the press it was always a tax cut for the rich.  Fast forward to six months ago.  The tax policy passed by GWB with biparitisan support is set to change at years end and guess what?  We find out that EVERYONE'S taxes are going up and not by a little bit. Really?

Here's more great journalism.  President Teleprompter campaigned on repealing this law.  I've heard over a dozen soundbites from the campaign trail about "repealing the Bush tax cuts."  Now, after the ass kicking the libtards took in November he is singing a different tune.  The exact opposite in fact.  We need to extend this program for "middle America". The press is not taking him to task for it.  They act like it never happened.

Random thoughts #24

Things that crossed my mind while wondering why life has been so good to me.

#1. I find myself saying "dude" a lot more than I used to and it sucks.

#2. Andie MacDowell is getting better looking with age. Not that she is that great  of an actress, but hot, yes she is.

#3. "Human Target" is the best show you aren't watching. Mark Valley is the star. A West Point graduate and a Desert Storm vet. The show is fun, exciting and good entertainment. Indira Varma is hotter than doughnut grease.

MCW "Favorite Sports Movie"

It's MCW. Started by  Boxer a while back, I've been though for a bit now.. Most of you know how it works but if you're new here (for which I greatly thank you) here's how it works. A theme is picked each week. You choose a movie to fit the theme and find a clip, preferably three minutes or less, and post it on your blog. Announce in the comment section of this post that you are up and we'll come and pay you a visit. It's simple really. If you are looking for the theme it's usually posted under the MCW banner on the right side of  the greatest blog in the universe my drivel by Thursday.

I admit I was rushed.  As a matter of fact, if  Troll hadn't reminded me, I would have probably spaced it out and subjected myself to blog banishment.

Anyway, favorite sports movie was pretty tough.  I love sports movies. Heck, I just plain ol love sports.  I'll most anything that I've ever participated in or that has a ball in it whether it's women's 9-ball, bowling or jai alai.  Some sports are boring (everyone immediately thinks "soccer", correctly I might add) but all in all I enjoy them.

While this week's feature isn't my all-time favorite sports movie, this clip is in the top five.  Paul Newman stars in "Slapshot".  A movie about a hockey team about to go belly up.  Too boost attendance, Newman, the team captain comes up with a plan to change the teams image.  He wants them to be brawlers and then he sign's the Hanson Brothers.  In this scene the teams are warming up.  The good parts are at the 1:15 mark and at the end.  Happy MCW.

Random thoughts about the election and American scene.

Had a couple of drinks with my friend Jon at The Mint here in Belgrade.  Our waitress/bartender has a husband who has served two tours in Iraq.   Jon asked to borrow $60 bucks from me as he was out of cash. I didn't ask why.  He's good for it.  He says " I'm going to buy her and her husband dinner for his service."  I told him I was in for half.  She was very touched.  Even better news.  She said she'd been offered a position at The Grantree where I stop every Friday.  Jessica, I look forward to seeing you there and thanks to your husband Nate for his service.

Things that crossed my mind while wondering how Barry and the media don't get it.

Some reading while I recover

Here are a few links I thought you would enjoy while I get caught up on my sleep and work.  Made a mad dash to St. Louis to watch the Rams put a little beat down on the Chargers.  Left Saturday at 5:30 AM and landed in St. Louis at 3 PM.  Beers, Crowns, sleep, breakfast, beers, then victory beers, dinner, sleep then leaving the hotel to catch a plane at 6 AM yesterday.  Good times though.    Rams won 20-17.  Sam Bradford looked pretty darn good.  Steven Jackson was THE MAN at the end of the game and the D put whiny ass punk Phillip Rivers on his back 7 times.

The slippery slope of the stimulus

The liberals insisted on borrowing a trillion dollars to "stimulate" the economy. They used 1/2 the money they borrowed. Most of it kept government and union jobs safe. The other 1/2 has yet to be spent. Now our  Chairman Mao Barry wants to borrow ANOTHER 50 billion for infrastructure repair. What's the matter with taking it out of the money you haven't spent?  What happened to those "shovel ready jobs"?  Honestly, have we ever had a less capable leader?

A trillion is a lot. It's 12 zeros.  We have 300 million people in the US. According to the latest figures on Wiki, 73% of Americans make less than $70K annually.  If we had given each person below $75K the stimulus money and told them they could spend it without paying it back, it would have stimulated the economy big time.  That's $4,500.00  for every man, woman and child.  A family of four would have received $18,000.00. We would have received a far better return on our money than saving the job of some teacher.

The War Is Over!!!!

I'm so happy to announce that the war in Iraq and, soon, Afghanistan is over.  You see, after Pastor Olson changed his plans about burning the koran, the terrorists insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan saw it as the supreme gesture they've been waiting for that we really are a tolerant people and just want to co-exist in peace, you know, the way the moslems have been asking us to do.

You see, because Islamic apologist President Obama was able to stop this horrid and painful event from occurring, the insurgents have laid down their arms and are now helping our soldiers build roads, schools and hospitals.  They are feeding starving children. It's a beautiful sight.

I'm so ashamed that I ever thought that islam was so violent and hateful.  Afterall, I was only basing my opinion of 1400 solid years of murder, slavery, torture, etc. I didn't look deeper at a faith that has such great ideas as making women walk ten feet behind you, stoning them for adultery, honor killings, genital mutilation, chopping of limbs for theft.  This is all my mistake.  Why, the koran is so close to our own Constitution that I'm embarrassed that I caused such a stir with all the moslem apologists for my comments about the mosque. Very short sighted of me.

Speaking of that, build the mosque.  Build the temple to the destruction of the Twin Towers high and proud.  Let us always be reminded that it was our own fault that these honorable men flew jets into buildings.  We deserved it. We live free.

Let us never again remember the fallen of 9/11 with somber hearts and wet eyes.  Instead, let us chant "allah akbar" with our moslem brothers.  9/11 should be a time of celebration, not remembrance.  Afterall, we'll make both moslems AND liberals happy.  Its the latter who really want to forget about 9/11.  That's why you never see images of planes flying into buildings. EVER.  They'll replay images from Pearl Harbor, Nagasaki and Hiroshima every year, but not 9/11.  Is that because the don't like Japanese people? It has to be.  Or maybe its because Japanese people live in the 21st century.

Remember, this is a great country.  Liberals celebrate the right to put a Crucifix in urine and call it art, but will not have a koran burned. Liberals love to view an image of the Virgin Mary smeared in feces but will take to the streets to make sure there is a never an image of Muhammad portrayed. And liberals will surrender to terrorists, who have NEVER honored one agreement, and call it a victory

So, go celebrate my friends.  Celebrate that at long last this war is over.  A war we directly started by having the audacity to live free, despite liberals wanting us to live otherwise.

I was gone all weekend and was just now checking the internet.  I wrote this post on the assumption that our peaceful moslem brothers would do the right thing and lay down their arms but they aren't.  Actually, they're pretty pissed we would even think about burning the koran.  So nevermind I guess.  The religion of peace fools me once again.  Damn it.  This must be what the Jews in Gaza feel like. You know, they assume Hamas will keep its word but it never does.  I assumed the moslems would want to live in peace but they don't.  Hell, they even have different factions within the religion just so they can fight amongst themselves if there aren't and Christians or Jews about.

As you were.

Who's intolerant now?

Isn't it odd that the same liberal leaders who are defending the mosque as freedom of religion didn't want Glenn Beck to hold a rally in DC? Aren't the freedom of speech and freedom of religion in the same amendment? Aaaah, hypocrisy. Without it liberalism has no foundation

What about private property again?

Last week in the course of discussing the bomb making factory mosque in NYC a couple of people commented on how the land was private property.  The implication was that because it was owned by an individual, they could do whatever they wanted.  This is true in theory.  However, all building and construction must go through a planning stage and be approved. Being involved in the construction industry for the last 18 years, I know full well that even if you dot every "i" and cross every "t" city councils can still say "no".  One example here was when a locally owned grocery store wanted to build a new facility in the southern part of town.  A nice vacant lot on the corner of Third and Kagy.   It met zoning requirements and was a beautifully designed building.  That part of town had nothing in the way of a grocery store and it has lots of people.Though the building met every requirement and the owner was more than willing to work with the city to do whatever else they may require he was denied a permit.  "Not a good fit"  "Too much traffic"  "I didn't like the 'footprint".  Blah, blah, blah.

Instead they built several little shops with shitty overpriced food and no parking.  Brilliant.

The point with the suicide training center mosque is that while they have every right to build it, the city of New York didn't have to say yes.  You can be angry all you want at Faisal and Daisy KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN but the real guilty party are the spineless liberals who won't stand up to islam for fear of looking intolerant.  The permit could have been denied.  It's as easy as that.

With the issue of private property being so "near and dear" liberal hearts I wonder how they feel about the land grab being devised by the Bureau of Land Management at this very moment.  130 million acres of set asides.  That's 25% larger than the state of California.  This article at American Thinker is just a taste of things to come.

I'm still intolerant, maybe.

Here's a quote by the dude trying to build the terrorist training center mosque near Ground Zero in NYC.

"We tend to forget, in the West, that the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al Qaida has on its hands of innocent non Muslims....Islam does not need a reformation."

- Ground Zero Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf in 2005

No, Islam does not need reformation.  Not at all. Terror attacks have only killed over 1,000 people in July and over 300 since the beginning for Ramadan.  There have only been 15,900 terror attacks in 60 different countries since 9/11.  So Faisal is right.  There is absolutely no reformation needed.

More people are killed by Islamists each year than in all 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition combined.  From The Religion of Peace.

Man I really need to figure out how I'm going to apologize to the nation of islam for all the disparaging things I've said.

Thanks to Laura Ingraham for the quote by Faisal.

I'm sleeping better now.

After reading about the new unmanned bomber in Iran.  I'm sleeping better now.  Knowing that the midget who is currently running Iran now has an unmanned bomber he can finally rid the world of the scourge that is Israel.  You see, those filthy Jews are the reason there is so much unrest in the Middle East.  Once we are rid of them, all the world's problems will be over.  Honestly, why do liberals even tolerate Jews?  Oh, that's right. Jews vote for them.  Well, they might just lose more of the Jewish vote than Joe Lieberman if they aren't careful.

I'm surprised that Amblahgjnadad (or whatever the little pricks name is) hasn't been to the Whitehouse as an honored guest.  He and Barry have so much in common.  They hate Jews, America and capitalism.  Just to start.

Maybe I was too hasty

Maybe I was a little too hasty about my condemnation of Islam last week.  Here's a story we can all learn a lesson from.  I also copied it after the page break.  Remember, its not going to just be a mosque but a cultural center as well.  Liberals beware.  Didn't someone say something about an electric chair last week?  Sweet!!
