It's been a long week. Actually, it's been a long year. More stress than I am accustomed to but that corner is about to be turned. More on that this Monday so stay tuned. Meanwhile, as it is Friday and I'm in a great mood, well, because it's Friday, I'll treat you all to a video. It's what was playing on the XM when I rolled into work after having breakfast with my good friend KB. Happy Friday everyone.

Glad to hear there is a light at the end of your tunnel and I look forward to good news on Monday.
In the meantime, thanks for the great video and have a fabulous weekend!
Good morning MRM,
Sure has been. Enjoy your weekend.
Boxer,
It's the best I've felt in a long while and hope that it isn't temporary.
Karl,
Take the Mrs. to dinner and dancing. Have a great weekend.
Dusty, Dusty, DUSTY! She is awesome.
As is the Pet Shop Boys sound, which I'm sure will bring back as many nightclub memories for Pam as it did for me:
You always wanted a lover
I only wanted a job . . .
May you have a simply fabulous weekend.
MRM,
So the NEW way of getting things rolling is you send a txt msg to her phone. If you get a reply, proceed. If not, pour some crown.
Happy weekending.
Moi,
How did they pick Dusty? She was washed up by then. Great choice and God bless them for knowing their music history.
Fishy,
You are a sly one. Must have read my post to Boxer to figure that out. She is actually calling me tomorrow. I wait with baited breath. You can't really smell that over the phone. I don't know where the phrase came from but it doesn't sound to inviting. Nevertheless, once I have her number, I can call back. I just have to bring my "A" game. That first conversation is important you know.
Seems like i have heard how they picked Dusty Springfield, but can't remember now. But here's the PSBoys song we sing daily around our house:
Sometimes you're better off dead, there's a gunin your hand and its pointed at your head, you think you're mad, too unstable, kicking in chairs and knocking down tables in a restaurant in a west end town, call the police there's madman around, running down, underground to a dive bar in a west end town.
@Pam: you and I have GOT to hang out.
@Milk: She's calling you? That sounds promising. If you bring your sense of humor, that will be more than your A game. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you charm the . . . well, that you charm her.
I agree, it's odd.
Which is the best bait for one's breath?
Moi,
Yes, that was her idea. I didn't question it. Gift horse in the mouth and all that.
Fishy,
I don't know which bait is best. I do know that I didn't have to shave to talk on the phone. Which was nice.
