The liberal double standard continues

Example 1: Roman Polanski. In 1977 Polanski plead guilty to raping a 13 year old girl. Now he's under arrest and all of Hollywood is coming to his defense. Is this even happening? Harrison Ford, you are a puke and if I ever see your faggot ass at Chico Hot Springs, you can guarantee I'm going to say something to you. Let's keep in mind that this was not consensual sex with a minor. That would be bad enough, but he raped her. (Read about it here but it isn't for the weak of heart) . Then fled to Europe and lived a life none of us can even imagine. He was 44 at the time. He has won awards and made movies and lived like nothing ever happened.

Where is the outrage from the feminists? Oh, according to Whoopi Goldberg it wasn't "rape-rape" so it's OK. Wow, then I guess that makes it OK for all men everywhere to drug women, have sex with them against their will, plead down the charges and say to the judge "Whoopi says it's OK". If this was a Catholic Bishop or Lutheran minister what would they being saying. God, I hope the next time Obama (Bin Laden, not the president. Confusing I know) bombs us, and under this administration that won't be too long, he hits Hollywood.

Example 2: President Obama and Afghanistan. Barry has all but ignored the war on terror since he took office even though it was one of the main themes of his campaign. He has met with General Stanley McChrystal, the head general in Afghanistan, once. Once. I've met with General McChrystal one less time than the president. Can you imagine what the outcry would be if a republican president had done this. It would be front page news for weeks on end. Let's face it, Obama wants to lose the war on terror because it better fits his plans to make us the weakest industrialized nation on earth. How can this be possible that a man sworn to protect us from "all enemies foreign and domestic" does not even know what is happening to the troops he is commanding? Instead, Obama is meeting with Colin Powell, the most overrated general of the last 40 years and I'm being nice when I say that. Maybe it would behoove the president to at least consider General McChrystal's plan before he seeks advice from a man who hasn't been directly involved in this conflict for over five years.

The biggest problem with this country is that one half of the people living here have their head's up their asses. They don't care and don't get it. They are almost worse than liberals. Almost.

Just sayin.

Hey Chip

Obama has only spoken with McCrystal once! I saw the interview via Fox and I didn't see where McCrystal has even met him face to face since taking over Afganistan.

Sounds like you and Barry are equal when it comes to face to face meetings with our miliary commanders.

I do think you are a pretty good "community organizer" so I am gonna start a campaign for you

I just saw this...

The Senate Finance Committee has voted against creating a new government health insurance plan to compete with the private market.

gerherhahahahah! It didn't even make it out of committee to the Senate floor!

You know Obama is pouting in a corner somewhere, stewing about this. He's probably thinking up different ways to keep campaigning. I've never seen any elected offical continue to campaign after being elected, and he's somewhere new every week!

Kim C, I would run for office but have too may skeletons in this day and age.

Kym, if what you are saying is true than I LOVE IT!!! Montana's own senator Tax Baucus wrote that bill. He is such a dweeb and I have no idea how he has made it this far. Obama is Obissmal. What a joke! And the media that GWB was stupid ( which he isn't). Can you even imagine if he had tried this exact proposal? The libs and media would be having his head.

I was shocked out of my shoes on Sunday when I heard McChrystal tell the 60 Minutes dude he has SPOKEN with Obama only once. Not even met with, just spoken.

That being said, it's time we just get the fork out. Sorry, folks, our bad! We messed this up, we're leaving. But any you yippee skippy jihadists step foot on our soil or perpetrate a terrorist act on free soil? Afghanistan is a glass parking lot, yo.

As for Polanski. Look, we had 30 years to get this guy. Even the victim doesn't want to see him prosecuted. He's 76 years old, in no danger of raping a grown woman, much less a child, and we're going to be wasting tax payer dollars to extradite the bum AND try him in a media circus that is going to be more about sensation than justice? Please. Leave the guy be . . . in FRANCE.

This post needs a wider audience. Frigging brilliant. Didn't know the details of Polanski. Twas MUCH worse than I'd thought.

Couldn't agree more on Powell being a PIECE-OF-CRAP. With the possible exception of Tony Blair, NOBODY gave Bush Junior worse advice on the Run-up-To-War and the War itself. When he followed that up with that self-serving unctious "You broke it, you fix it" I would have fired his ass.

Here's an amazing thing that has NEVER before happened in American History.

The President.

The Vice-President.

The Secretary-of-State.

The Chairman of the Senate Armed Forces Committee.

The Chairman of the House Armed Forces Committee.

What do they have in common besides being leftist cretin democrats?

NONE have served ONE HOUR in the military. NONE have any knowledge of the military.

THAT is incredible to me. And it's never occurred before. It's never come close to occurring before.

Moi, Polanski needs to do his time. This woman has forgiven him, yes. But he plead the charge down from rape to avoid a trial because she didn't want to go through the publicity back then. Dude needs to go to jail.

CT, That is an amazing piece of information. jaw dropping.
