Paper Doll and others

Ladies and Gentlemen. The Mills Brothers. Enjoy. These guys are AWESOME! I'm bragging when I say I know all the words. Great harmony. I bought their greatest for me as well.

PAMOKC, did you listen to this?

And my all time favorite Mills Brothers song, "Cab Driver". Great lyrics. I couldn't find a video of them singing this but this recording is great.

I think I'll stay up and listen to some more tunes. Have a great weekend everyone.

Madman,
You need to come hangout with Blowfish in his cave. Think personal de-stressing zone rather than home office. He has hundreds of cd's from musicians past. He selects his mix, queues 'em up, has a cold beverage of choice, rocks back in his retired with him leather executive chair and makes his facebook rounds. Sometimes I hear a bit of shuffling so I'm guessing some of his tunes inspire.

I often think men have a different relationship with their music than do women. Perhaps it is because we females are encouraged to define and express emotions more. Generations of men have been counseled to not do this, so they don't or can't. Music, I think, serves as the expression of feelings for men and Thank God for this mercy. Enjoy!

I'm a huge fan of the Mills Bros too. Glad you're back and I'm not sure if I could handle a week with no Internet. EEEEK.

What is the theme for this week's MCW?

Fishy,

I would agree with that assessment 100%. My friend Ralph and I will sit up on the skype late at night and drink beer and send videos back and forth. When he lived in Billings, we would sit in his basement listen to tunes and have cd's scattered everywhere when his lovely wife would finally tell us it was time for bed.

Boxer, no internet was tough. I'll post an MCW theme directly.

Fishy,

When you've know each other since you were 4 and never went more than 3 weeks without seeing each other and now Ralph lives in Nevada then, yes, it is how we continue to bond.
