Tornado in Billings, MT

I'm sure most of you are aware that Montana was hit by an F-2 tornado yesterday.  My brother watched it from Pioneer Park and said it was pretty incredible.  I had this link sent to me with some great footage and lots of stills.  The first video is the best.  Brother is safe and Billings will survive.  No one was killed and one man was injured from baseball sized hail.  Pretty lucky.  Click here.

I was thinking of you when I saw this on the news this morning and was wondering how close you were to it (You've mentioned Billings before). Glad you're OK. Tornadoes are one of the natural disasters I haven't experienced - yet.

BK, 150 miles from me but have been to the Metra many, many times. It's the largest venue in the state and the fact that nothing was going on there yesterday is amazing. There's always something at the Metra.

This must be the summer for blogworthy weather events. Seems like half the blogs I visit have written about impressive weather events in the past month. I have a post up at he Pond about a Microburst event here and wow is that some serious weather!

Good thing the Metra wasn't the place to be.
