So Ralph and I are on the phone (skype isn't working for Ralph) and I found this great video of the Cowboy Junkies singing Blue Moon. I really like their take on this. Enjoy. By the way, no alcohol was consumed during this post. That's a lie. I'm enjoying a glass of Crown Cask 16 that my little sis gave me for Christmas. She's a doll.
After the jump, here are a couple of our favorites. I miss you Ralph. Tonight was fun but nothing compares to pulling a hundred CD's out of our vault and saying "how about this one?"
When Ralph was in college at Eastern Montana and Country Club I'd go down to see him and Delmer every couple of months. They hung out at this club "The Prairie". I sent this video to Ralph and he says this is Prairie music.
Here's some Matthew Sweet. I love this song.
That's all I have tonight sports fans. I've had my fill of Cask 16 and it's awesome. Thought I had one more but I don't. Enjoy Sunday.

Cowboy Junkies, now there's a great band. In fact, you inspired me to post "Common Disaster."
Great post. Don't know much about Cowboy Junkies, but am going to be learning more. The GAP band, though, are just absolute faves. Best song too! They are from Tulsa and GAP name is derived from streets in the Greenwood area of Tulsa, now the location of Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. Even more strangely, those crazy Brits do a weird dance to "Oops Upside Your Head" by getting down in the floor and sitting in a line and acting like they are rowing a viking boat. I know. I would not have believed it either unless I had observed it with my own eyes. Just only that one song by the Gap Band. Strange! Very Strange!

Believe it or not.

Here's another one. Now I'm going to have that song in my head all day.
Cowboy Junkies were a lucky find on PBS one late night.
Pam, how can this "dance" last 3 minutes?
