MCW Theme for 10/13/10

Alright.  I'm still working out some things for coming up with themes but fear not, I will prevail.  I have some ideas but IMO they are very limited and not everyone thinks like me (a hearty round of "thank God" is heard throughout the blogosphere).

This week's choice should include everyone.  Favorite Disney movie, non-animated.  Everyone has watched at least one Disney movie that wasn't a cartoon so I expected a record amount of particpants.

Vamanos muchachos.

I gotta go with Mary Poppins, I know there are animated parts, but I figure I'm still safe.

I like the theme and the amount of time for next week. There's a lot more non-animated Disney films out there then people realize. I've been thinking on some themes that everyone can get in to.

Favorite sports movie
Favorite horse movie (in homor of Troll and the upcoming Secretariat - also a Disney film)

Favorite chase scene
Favorite pole dance scene (wait, how did that get in there?)

Favorite period piece (and it's not what your thinking - movie set in the past)

Favorite Tropical Paradise movie
Favorite ocean adventure

Feel free to use any of these or change them as you see fit or use none of them.

Buzz,
Thanks for the suggestions. I've had a couple of those in the que and still have some tricks up my sleeve. The more suggestions the merrier. This list works into my plan very well and I thank you. How far from Westfield NJ are you. Sister lives their, that's why I'm asking.

I was going to suggest "best horse movie" in honor of Secretariat and Trolly.

Best detective?

Best side-kick character?

Best scene stolen by a child actor?

I'm not going to lie. I throw a lot of great Seinfeld clips out there to relate to the moment. What's on my mind and how I'm feeling and no one ever comments on them. C'MON PEOPLE. Work with me here.

Hey, I commeted on the pretzel one the other day. Glad I could be of help on the future themes (unless you were just humoring me).

Westfield is about 75 mile north of me, near Elizabeth and Jersey City. Suppose to be a nice area but I've never been there. I very rarely travel above Trenton.

I've seen every Seinfeld episode at least a gajillion times. Best TV show ever.

BTW, have you heard? Brett Favre sex scandal! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/08/brett-favre-scandal-nfl-l_n_756229.html

BK, Westfield is a nice town. I was there in '06. I wasn't humoring you. I have a goal for this meme and will need help to see it through.

Moi, I'm a Seinfeld freak. I was at Borders Books the other day and they had a Seinfeld trivia game on sale for $8. I was going to buy it but I don't know anyone I could play it with except my buddy Skeets who lives 200 miles from here.

Hands down...Mary Poppins. BTW, I would pay half my salary to find a nanny like that.

On another note, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CATS!
