Movie Clip Wednesday - "Best movie with a twist ending"

Hello loyal followers.   Boxer is still letting me host so here's the deal if you haven't been here before.  We pick a theme, you pick a movie that fits the theme then find a clip (3 minutes or less preferred) and post it on you blog for the rest of us to read.

This week's theme is "movies with a twist ending".  I'll start by saying that I hate autopost.  It didn't post my clip last week and so I didn't use it this week.  I'm sure that 99% of it is operator but that will not stop me from bitching.  Anyways, to make matters worse, I had to take a great customer out for drinks and then met a couple of friends and, well, I came home in no mood to post last night and so here I am doing it this morning.

My choice for this theme is The Usual Suspects. While it may not have fooled everyone in the audience it did me.  Not that that is a tall order.  I loved the story, the acting was great and it was an independent movie that did very well.  Kevin Spacey won an academy award for supporting actor.  Here's the ending.

The story of Keyser Soze.

I was talking to the president of The Procrastinator's Club and asked him how membership was going.  He told me the numbers were low but that he wasn't worried.  He figured a lot of people just hadn't got around to joining yet.

Next week's theme is the opposite of this week's kind of.  How about we do Best Opening Scene.  That's a full week.  It's a little out of character I know so don't get used to it.

I can't believe I have never seen this movie. Hasn't it reached cult classic status now? Really must fix this situation one day. Happy MCW! I'm up on my page and blog jinxed Boxer immediately.

I'm up at the Buzzkill with a bunch of Damned Dirty Apes. I'll be back tonignt to visit everyone.

I use Auto Publish all the time and haven't had any problems. I haven't recently because I CAN'T PREPARE DAYS AHEAD LIKE I USE TO.

Just remember to set the date and time and then hit the publish button. It should then appear in your management list saying hthat it's scheduled for the date and time.

Pam, it one of my all time fave's.

BK, I was on the road all last week without the internet. There are no internet cafe's in Williston, North Dakota. I know I'm missing something simple on autopost and am going to experiment more this week. It was working once, so I screwed something up. BTW, who needs to prepare days ahead. You're great under pressure!

I'm up with a happy blog jinx with my pal Pam.

The Crying Game

I can no longer auto publish or change the date on a post that's been written earlier. Boo.

Thanks as always for hosting!

Fabulous pick! One of my favourites and I totally forgot the twist at the end. Kaiser Soze... a name designed to generate so much fear :)

Madman
ou know, I've seen most of this movie but never all the way through. But I do remember that ending. A little confusing but I got the gist of it. Good choice.

Nice of you to say. My problem with the short fuse is that I can only view videos at home (at night). My company firewalls all video and streaming media. And some nights at home ar worse than others. I like the next theme and will have time to think on it.

Happy MCW!

The ending got me, too, but I didn't love the movie over all. One of my husband's favorites, though, and in typical guy fashion he memorized half the movie and to this day will cough up a Usual Suspects quote as necessary.
