Is XM radio the greatest invention of the last 100 years?

The answer to that question is "no" it isn't but it's pretty flippin sweet.  On my long commute to work this morning (all twenty minutes of no traffic) after swicthcing to the '80's I heard ABC  Be Near Me, then Madonna with her classic tribute to the '80's  Material Girl.  God she was hot back then.  Robert Wuhl is great in the beginning of this video.  Keith Carradine? Really? Then soap opera Dr. and pop superstart Rick Springfield followed with Human Touch.

However, my morning ride started on the '70's channel with this classic by Thelma Houston. Love the bass and absolute great pipes.  Aaaah the 70's.  When vocals mattered.  One more day til Friday.  Its the last day of league golf.  I can see me having to leave at around three to play an  emergency nine holes.  Maybe Barry will be there.

"Don't Leave Me This Way" is one of my all-time favorite songs. It's in constant rotation on my iPod and I never get tired of hearing it.

And, yes, satellite radio IS the greatest invention of the past 10 years :o)

Moi,
I still don't own an Ipod because I have satellite radio.

That is a good song. Satellite radio the greatest invention in 100 years? I'd have to say that computers are the greatest invention because it led to Al Gore's internet invention and indirectly led to internet porn. I would never have to leave the house if it wasn't for work.

Too bad it will take XM/Sirius customer service another 100 years to be as good as the radio programming. I LOVED satellite radio. You'll notice the past tense. After repeated problems with billing and service, the scale tipped and I threw temper tantrum and cancelled it. I'm still bitter.
