Remember D-Day

This weekend is the 65th anniversary of D-Day. Take a moment on Saturday to remember the thousands who died to liberate Europe. I listened to President Reagan's speech on the 40th anniversary and it is still moving 25 years later.

MMM,
I have a friend at church, a much older gentleman who was on Iwo when the flag went up. I cry every time he tells me the story. Most of us have no idea of the SACRIFICE. Thanks for this post. By the way, were you in the military?

Nan,

never served. Had three uncles in WWII. Two in the Pacific and one with Patton from Africa through Europe.
