The Amazing Tragedy

The explosion of yesterday was tragic. A young woman lost her life. Many old buildings have been or will be destroyed. I'm talking buildings from the early 1900's hundreds. However, it is utterly amazing to me that not one other person was even injured. I've seen no reports of anyone being hospitalized or treated for injuries of any kind other than the young woman who is still being reported as missing.

Not a broken leg, no one airlifted to Billings, not a stitch from broken glass. Nothing. It's amazing when you think about it. One dead. That's it. This think could have happened at another time and it could have cost upwards of a couple hundred people their lives. The fact that there is only one presumed dead is utterly mind boggling to me.
Good article from a couple of the witnesses.

Wow Milky - this really is remarkable that no one else was lost / missing. Thoughts and prayers to the family of that poor girl.

So - regarding your comment on the last post - I CANNOT believe that the children in the school were not a top priority. I'm speechless. Finally - because there was smoke in the school did they get it evacuated?!?! Darn right that principle has some questions to answer... considering how angry this makes me, I can only imagine how irate the parents are. geeze!
